You don’t need an MBA to be wise. You even don’t need a college degree or any other degree. All what matters is how well you can listen to your inner voice and follow its advice. Continue reading

Being 40: Time to Love, Forgive and Follow one’s Heart
I can’t wait to turn 40 in two weeks. It may sound a bit unusual, but that’s how I feel. I loved being 20, 30 and 35, but being 40 feels now like the most natural thing in the world. Continue reading
Gratitude: The Fastest Shortcut to Happiness
When some problem or life situation is getting on me and my peace of mind seems to be going away, then I shift my focus on what I am grateful for, in that present moment. I name silently or out loud what I am grateful for until I feel better.
And it works! Why? Because it is impossible to feel anxiety and be truly grateful at the same time. Continue reading
If You Want To Be Happy, Be Honest With Yourself
I have a long experience of living in denial. It was started many years ago by a mysterious back injury I suffered while skiing. It was mysterious, since nothing visible happened to cause this injury. I didn’t fall down and I didn’t clash with anyone. I just suddenly felt a sharp pain in my lower back. A few hours later, the pain was unbearable and I practically couldn’t walk. Continue reading
Learning to Be Happy

Everyday Abundance!
My New Year started in a very prosperous way! No, I have not won a lottery, nor did I receive an unexpected check with a multiple digit amount on it. Something much more prosaic. I flew from Newark to Prague, and that trip turned out to be jam packed with abundance. Continue reading
Mistletoe in My Heart
After 39 Christmas holidays spent in my parents’ house in the Czech Republic, this year I will be spending Christmas for the first time in my life in the US. Being in a completely different place sets a unique opportunity to decide what I want to experience during this most special time of the year. Continue reading
